ESG rating awards were awarded for the first time as part of the Croatian Chamber of Commerce (HGK) conference “Support sustainability”. It is a rating given to an organization based on its approach to the environment (Environment), society (Social) and adopted management practices (Governance).
ESG rating HGK for the best large sustainable company in Croatia was achieved by Muraplast d.o.o.
We recycle 96% of waste, used water is used again in full, and 86% of energy is used from renewable energy sources.
In addition to the key benefit of attracting capital and investors, by using HGK’s ESG rating as a tool, we will be able to more easily assess our ESG performance and gain insight into risk exposure. We can also monitor our progress and adjust our business strategy, as well as compare our business with other companies in the sector to increase competitiveness.
This award confirms that we are on the right business path as far as sustainable business development is concerned. We follow the trends of sustainable business development, but in some way we define them ourselves so that they become a reference for our wider region.
As more than 400 companies from all over Croatia participated in this competition, we thank HGK, which recognized the effort and commitment we invest in sustainable business in our company and awarded us the award as the most sustainable large company in Croatia.
